The Steelcraft Story
Industrial Steelcraft began operating in December 1980. Steelcraft’s production capacity and service staff were dedicated almost exclusively from day one to fabricating, modifying, repairing, retrofitting and upgrading rental, drilling, service and transportation equipment.

Our old shop was located at 4734 - 45A Street, Lacombe, a 6,400-square-foot shop on a little more than one acre of land, where it had been since 1980. Steelcraft moved on March 1, 2013, to a newer 12,600-square-foot facility on over 7 acres of land at 4545 – 48th Avenue, Lacombe, Alberta. An overhead crane was installed, and electrical was upgraded in this new building to accommodate the growing business.
Alberta Tank Inspections (a division of Steelcraft) is registered with Transport Canada as a facility for the manufacture, modification, assembly, repair, test, retest, or inspection of highways tanks and portable tanks by CSA Standard B620. The Canadian Department of Transport authorized Alberta Tank Inspections to use and apply the national safety mark and authorization number “6E1” to final stage body and equipment manufacturing.
